Bakerbuilt Tracks - Frequently Asked Questions

When it comes to track building, Bakerbuilt Tracks knows that everyone is always curious on a few topics before deciding on having a track designed and constructed. Here are some frequently asked questions we encounter and the answers.

Q: What types of tracks do you build?
A: We build all kinds of tracks, from Motocross, Supercross, Arenacross, Pitbike, Freestyle, to Mini Bike tracks. We also construct Dirt Jumps, BMX, Mountain Bike, and Pump Tracks. These tracks can be for private individuals, municipalities like the City of Tallahassee Parks and Recreation, or for commerical use. We are always looking for new challenges to change your dirt into a work of art.

Q: Will I need to have dirt brought in?
A: The answer to this question varies upon what kind of track you are looking for. Motocross style tracks generally the answer is no. We will excavate the dirt on site in coordination with the contour of the land providing lots of dirt and excellent drainage. If you are looking for a professional supercross or arenacross track, these can be exceptions to bring in dirt. We can also build a retention pond for dirt supply which also works great for drainage, and irrigation.

Q: What type of equipment is needed?
A: Common equipment in track construction are as follows...John Deere 450-650 Bulldozer, John Deere 225-350 Excavator, John Deere 544-624 Wheel Loader, and a Skid Loader Bobcat T-190/ T-300. Brand is not desired but the equivalent of the machines above are what we use day in and day out. After we decide on a type, style and observe your terrain for your track we will make a decision on which equipment we will use for your project.

Q: What will my track cost?
A: There is no set cost for a type or style track. There are too many varibles involved when constructing a track. No two sites locations are the same so it is hard to have a set price for a track. Although, we can come up with an estimated cost of your project by having you answer a few questions.
